ICBF, through its breeding information service HerdPlus, provides a range of breeding information reports and tools for the Irish Dairy and Beef farmer. We have made great progress over the last few years, with approximately 24,000 dairy and beef farmers joined up to our breeding information service. We provide top class customer support to our current members and potential future members.

- Supporting and coordinating a team who provide telephone, email, web and other support to farmer and industry members.Supporting the team in the targeting and recruitment of HerdPlus members as well as recruiting for other ICBF initiatives eg. Gene Ireland.Training, development and coaching of team members.Active engagement in continuous process improvements.Active management of customer ticketing tool.Ensuring adequate cover to provide excellent customer service at all times. Our candidate requirements:
- Experience leading, supporting and training a team of people.Excellent communication, customer focus skills and excellent telephone manner.Strong computer skills including Word & Excel.Dependable and flexible, able to work independently as well as part of a team.Ability to handle multiple requests and work in a dynamic environment.Demonstrated ability to engage in a continuous improvement environment.Experience dealing with farmers would be a distinct advantage.Largely office based role.
